Watched a bit of ‘The IT Crowd’ tonight. I hate laugh tracks, and the show is rather campy, but I still got a laugh out of it.

I can’t help but agree, even if I am guilty of using the ‘stretch’ method of checking my iPhone while at the dinner table…

Alright. I am sick the day before my vacation starts. I don’t even care. I’ll dredge right through it.
A vat of coffee and reading soft core political garbage makes me more angry than it should. I digress.

He Didn't Forget
I was reading this article today and I couldn’t help but laugh at how far off John Murray was. Quote:
Mr. McCain is coming under fire for his conspicuous memory lapse when listing the names of Republican governors who could be the next in line to challenge President Barack Obama in 2012. “We have, I’m happy to say, a lot of voices out there,” Mr. McCain told host Jay Leno before listing...

A List
I am going to have a bit of free time on my hands from the 17th-27th and while I have stuff planned I am also going to be making a short reading list. I need to get through some half read books (a very bad habit of mine) and a few short ones I haven’t started. Here is what I have so far:
Violence by Zizek
The Road by Cormac McCarthy
Tails of Moonlight and Rain by Ueda Akinari
Persepolis...

There is a lively discussion at the bottom of the linked article. While there is a significant amount to be said about all sides involved, my two cents is simply ‘yes.’
Finishing up a re-read of After the Quake (http://tiny.cc/VqAXb). Just as good the second time. If not better.
Hangover. Coffee. Murakami. Work. Dinner+Movie. Sleep. Fixed. = What was, what is, and what will be today.
Having coffee with @elizabethcannon. Which is awesome. http://twitpic.com/33kkj

This article makes me wish I knew enough web designers to show the article to…
I can’t agree more with web design as anti-reading and pro looking.
I think simply wanting to read the text on a site is what instills a predisposition to liking sites that were designed with Ruby on Rails. Look a few up, they all have easy to read text in a format that doesn’t clutter the screen.

“In just over a day, a powerful computer program accomplished a feat that took physicists centuries to complete: extrapolating the laws of motion from a pendulum’s swings.”
I think they are going to charge more for this program than Mathematica…

Better than being bought by Microsoft or Facebook and way better than actually having to become profitable.

Happy April Fools Day.
Google has always done the day justice. This years is particularly funny, in my opinion. Her ‘intriguing homepage’ is rather fantastic and not all that unrealistic. A slap at MyFace perhaps…
Meeting time. Blah, blah, blah. Leverage some synergies, buy me some coffee.
