Three favourites of mine — Shane Carruth’s Primer (above), Duncan Jones’s Moon and Steven Soderbergh’s Solaris remake — made Wired readers’ list of the decade’s top science fiction films. Most surprising omission: Children Of Men.

Children of Men did make the official cut which I have to say is surprising to me. For me, the movie missed the mark by bit toward the end. I am actually more surprised that Primer didn’t make the official cut. I love that movie. The most surprising thing for me is that Starship Troopers made the cut. wtf?

That being said, my favorite film of all time is on the list. Gattaca is, by far, my favorite science fiction film of all time.
