“In a weird self-referential short-circuit, they were protesting against the very reaction to their protests.” pg75

I am currently working my way through Violence by Slavoj Žižek while downing 400mg of caffeine at my local branch of the coffee empire. They make for a good pairing.

In a sort of coffee shop visitation evolution, I have determined that social criticism and science related topics go well with coffee and/or cigarettes. It’s when I wind down at the end of the day that I whip out the green tea and a novel.

I suppose there are worse habits to have.
