Ars live at Google Android press event tomorrow

Alright, I’ll admit it. I really hope Google’s new phone rocks as hard as the hype has lead us to believe. I have high hopes, unfortunately. I feel like anything less than a revolutionary device or method of purchase and activation will be a let down. I’d like to see 2010 be the year of the death of subsidies.

Secondly, I find it funny that this video making fun of the boot process also explains it more clearly than most examples I have seen.

Google Wave

I finally got an invite. They don’t give you actual invites to use immediately but they give you 8 invite suggestions, which I presume works the same way if only slower. That being said. Excellent article. Still not satisfied with regard to what sets Google apart from everyone else, but it’s nice to know others are still puzzled too.

You have to admit though, for all its awesomeness, Picasa still sucks.
