Don’t Be Fooled by Avatar’s Lame Trailer: Frank DiGiacomo | Vanity Fair
I saw this trailer the other night before Inglorious Basterds. I still have high hopes for this movie, and to some degree I am glad that the trailer leaves much to be explained. My concern is that it didn’t do enough to attract people who otherwise would have never heard about the film.
To paraphrase someone without attribution, the film is hyped to be the showcase for the biggest technological advancement in movie making since the introduction of sound. That’s a hefty claim. I’d like for it to not be an exaggeration, but I won’t hold my breath.
