This place was amazing. A gem in Florida, really.

The garden was nice. The building is amazing. While you have to donate some money to get a tour of the Founders Room, there doesn’t seem to be a price you can pay to get into the library on the 5th floor, which is supposedly the largest of its kind.

At any rate, if you find yourself in central Florida (slightly South of Orlando) you should definitely check this place out.

A tower, on a mountain…in Florida. There is nothing else like it in the state.

Woohoo. It’s a pineapple. I know that’s not at all impressive but I don’t grow things, and much like myself neither does my sister. So you can imagine my surprise when I saw this in her back yard when I went to visit down in Miami. Tropical victory garden anyone?
