This is exactly what I was getting excited about when I first heard about the iPad. I am very happy to see that magazines are moving to the tablet form in such innovative ways. This is the reason I want a tablet computer, regardless of manufacturer.

I’d like to know what effect micro-blog popularity is having on this observation. It would seem to me that people would be much more likely to write on ad nauseam about whatever was on their mind if they weren’t expected to pump out wit at 140 characters at a time.

This photo was published in the latest issue of JPG and wins as my favorite of the issue. The featured article is Noir and it is definitely worth a look.

That being said, I haven’t had much time to run around and snap photos lately, but I did manage to get some time in with Pixelmator, a GPU enabled photo editor for the Mac. It’s no CS3, but it gets the easier jobs done for us amateurs.
