I am currently at Jackson Hispital in Miami. Here are a few observations:
I feel a lesser sense of urgency to move out of the way of an abulance when it is so close to it’s destination. Come on, let me cross the street.
I just saw a nurse give a bum a cigarette.
Many of the residents are no older than me and I can tell, just by looking at them, that they watch Scrubs too much.
There is a RedBull vending machine by the emergency room entrance. Who is the target market here?
I prefer my male doctor to have facial hair. I prefer my female doctor to not have facial hair. These preferences reduce my pool of prefered doctors much more than you might first imagine.
